Zoya Dove + China Glaze White Cap

Hi!   Today I have a Zoya I got from the 2 free promo. They have the best promos!! I am anxiously awaiting the next... but here is Dove :

This is my perfect pale grey! (ignore flash from camera in the bottle) Unfortunately it chipped within hours so I added another layer of fun :

China Glaze White Cap. So pretty over greys and pastels.

Back to blogging -- Essie Armed and Ready

Hi!  I got a little sad about never having the opportunity to take pictures in the sun once winter came around and all my sun hours are spent at work.. but then I discovered the flash on my phone so I am back :) Okay.. MOSTLY I am just lazy...but I am anxious to get back in touch with Blogger and will be visiting all you wonderful ladies soon.

For my comeback swatch I decided to post Essie Armed and Ready... it's from the new 2012 Go Overboard trio, I picked this & Go Overboard up, didn't think I needed Play Date. OH BUT I DO and I am going to pick that one up this weekend.

A really nice greyed out green with a golden bronzey flash!! NEED ALL THE HIDDEN SHIMMERS. Unfortunately the flash lies here and the shimmer is quite hidden, but it's so pretty when it comes out to play!

Finger Paints - Micheltangelo

Hi Ladies! Today I have a nice shade from Finger Paints - Micheltangelo. I really like this brand. All of the polishes I have from them have great color & formula, and they have some amazing glitters! Micheltangelo is a perfect red/orange creme with kind of a jelly finish. I used 3 coats for these photos as there is some VNL, but 2 is enough if you don't mind the VNL :) Formula was fantastic creamy goodness.

Clearly I did not notice my middle finger cuticle trying to eat my nail.. will do something about that.

Explosion mani attempt :)

Hi! Today I have some nail art! I tried to re-create nailside's explosion mani. Mine came out more like dinosaur teeth..but I still like it! Haha.


The lines definitely aren't perfect but that tape was a PITA and I wasn't redoing anything, lol.. definitely satisfied for a first attempt however!! I actually did my right hand better but.. my right hand is a leper that wishes not to be photographed. :)


I used O.P.I Big Hair..Big Nails (red jelly) & nOPI Give Me The 1st Dance (silver foil) & I loved this combo! I really love the jellies from the Texas collection (or sorbet's) and I wish they would do more of them ASAP.
