China Glaze - I'm Not Lion

 Hope everyone is having a nice weekend! Today I have one of the glitters from the On Safari collection - I'm Not Lion. Really pretty white gold and holo mix of glitters, I found it opaque in 2 coats but 3 wouldn't have hurt for the pics...

so dazzling. i really love the ChG glitter formula btw, generally very easy to work with.

nails inc. - Pudding Lane

 I love nails inc. so much for doing this sprinkles collection. I got three of them, but I will be picking up the 4th. Today I have Pudding Lane. Adorable. Blue base with blurple and yellow-y gold glitter. Covered well and easily in 2 coats.

I die a little for the cupcake sticker on the cap.

Butter London Knees Up + 24hr sale!!

 I've been wearing so many pinks & reds lately..it's true. Can't get off them. This BL is one of my absolute favorites. Knees Up is a very glowy metallic red. Pictured here w. 2 coats.

WnW - Light with Caution

 Hi! Quick post tonight. I picked up Light with Caution from the Sparks n Stripes collection. It seemed to be mostly rebottles, including this one. I believe this is also Spoiled Jewelry Heist.

It's a very pretty glitter polish. Pink and gold hexes, with some small square iridescent glitters. Shown here over ChG Innocence from my last post.

Sheer Pinks.

Hi! Happy Sunday! There is actually sun today so I am happy. It's been MIA the last few days..which normally I would enjoy but I missed out on taking some swatch pics. boo hoo. I really need to construct a light box!

Anyway, I like sheer pinks. Do you? I don't think I've ever looked at one and not wanted to own it. I've been wearing a lot of them lately so here are two from recent times - China Glaze Innocence & Essie True Love

Innocence -

4 coats of milky pink goodness

True Love - much more sheer coral jelly pink

True Love is my NOTD today and I am really enjoying it as a palette cleanser, not too much color but it just gives a nice healthy pink glow. Also, I found it at TJ Maxx yesterday for $3.99 so I had to give it a good home.

Chanel - Frenzy

 I've been on a real Chanel kick lately..not sure why, but I hope I get over it soon. I just want them all. I went so long resisting them..got one and it was all over!! Super collectible. Anyway, here is one of the new fall '12 shades, Frenzy. I would call it a taupe-y grey with lilacy pink and beige undertones, but that sounds like garbage. I do really love it though.

This was nice and opaque @ 2 coats. (and at $26 for a creme it better be, but I had my doubts that it would be)

Elevation Polish - The Arches at Sunset

Hi! Happy Tuesday :) Today I have my first polish from Elevation. I HAD to have this. I am really impatient with indies...but I made sure I was around for her July restock. ( I believe she stocks each month on the 7th.. her blog gives out great info on what will be available and when.) The Arches at Sunset is a brown/green duochome. Probably most definitely in the ugly pretty category, but I think it is gorgeous! Immediately a favorite. This is 3 coats.

Essie - Action

  Hi! Hope everyone had a nice weekend! Apologies if you're burnt out on neons...bc here is more neon! Well.. sorta neon. This is Essie Action from the summer 2012 Poppy-Razzi collection. It's a light yellowy neon jelly orange. Formula is nice but... this is 5 coats and not opaque. I am okay with that because I like the color. Definitely dries darker and more vibrant than it appears in the bottle!

ChG Beach Cruise-r + Flirty Tankini

Hi! I have some more of the ChG summer neons swatched, first I will show you Beach Cruise-r.... really love this one! Perfect purple neon. I think mine might be a dud shimmer wise? It was darn near invisible. I actually picked this one up thinking it was Under the Boardwalk but I am happy I got the wrong one! Formula on this was the best I've tried of these neons. Not as thick & very easy to work with.

  Now Flirty Tankini, adore this one as well but OMG do I hate the name. It's a really gorgeous coral pink neon w. shimmer. This is the only pink I got but those pinks in this collection are really impressive... might need a few more. This did stain a bit on removal but the stains were gone pretty fast. I'll wear it again anyway!

3 coats..no hidden shimmer here!

Deborah Lippmann - Dancing in the Sheets

  Hi! This is one of the DL's I lucked out in getting on clearance on hsn.com for $5! It was in a set of two for $10 and I couldn't resist even though I thought I had a dupe for this one. I do not. I thought ORLY Royal Velvet (aka mysterious curse) would be much closer but they're quite different. Dancing in the Sheets has a purple base and loads of pretty blue shimmer. This is 2 coats but I could have went with a third on my thumb... as you will see a good giant bald spot there lol

Color Club - Bomb-Blast-ic

  I've been on a hunt for a real NEON red... they're all pink though! When I saw this the other day at rite aid I thought it had some real potential to be actually red. It was crackle, but I will take it how I can get it! Also, my huge stash of 1 color club was begging for a buddy. Anyway, when I first applied it inside it really just looked hot pink again. When I got it outside in the sun though, it was actually red! At long last. It still has more of a twinge of hot pink than my pictures suggest but it IS red..party time.

I still enjoy some crack now and again too..why not? Here it is over Essie Marshmallow :

thumb always cracks the best.

American Apparel - Smoke Dazzle

  Hi! Happy Saturday! Supposed to get to 103 degrees today..gross...not into it. NERP. My boyfriend is at a  free outdoor concert (the dirty heads)... I was supposed to go but, 103 degrees! All those sweaty people crammed together. Sounds smelly, no? Free concerts are a mess anyway, but the weather is a good excuse to pass. I would probably pass out anyway.  Hope you all have cooler ideas in mind if you're in this heat!

 Anyway, today I have Smoke Dazzle from AA. One of their metallic polishes. It's a duochome beauty!! The  color shift in it is pretty similar to Butter London Knackered if you didn't like the holo glitter in that one. They're not dupes though.. get both. :) This is 3 coats.

most of the time it is this greenish color, but it's also grey..purple...pink..

Really love my AA polishes. I only have a few though,  I strongly dislike going in that store. I swear every time I go in there is a 13 year old yelling at her mother about how a bandeau is an appropriate top. -shudder- that is a whole other topic tho. What are your favorite AA polishes?

nOPI - Purple Yourself Together

This one was part of the spring 2012 Target exclusives. The only one I picked up... cannot resist these purple/gold polishes. I think I have at least 5 polishes similar to this lol. It's okay though, always a gorgeous combo! The formula of Purple Yourself Together wasn't great... kinda sheer and runny. This is 3 coats.

Baker Street + Stars and Stripes. Happy 4th!

  Hi! Happy Independence Day to everyone in the US!! Hope everyone has fun tonight! I'll be inside comforting the dog... lol. My community has it's own huge firework show in the park. Which would be lovely if my dog wasn't terrified :( She is not the type to get phased by even a massive thunderstorm and I am sure fireworks wouldn't bother her from a distance but they are practically in my backyard so they are super sonic loud!!! People come from all over and it's generally a huge mess. Bah Humbug much? lolll. They're still pretty  :)

 Didn't do anything too fancy for the nails... have my most favorite blue polish, nails inc. Baker Street, which could not be more perfect. Seriously I think this polish is my #1. Applies itself!

Then I added WnW Stars and Stripes which is holo star & bar glitter and WAY too much suspension base, huge PiTA to apply!
